A very elegant lady was flying home from Switzerland, sitting next to a kind and gentle priest. After a bit of polite small talk, she leaned closer and whispered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cExcuse me, Father\u2026 may I ask you for a favor?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOf course, my child,\u201d he replied kindly. \u201cWhat can I do for you?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The woman sighed nervously. \u201cI bought this very expensive hair remover device, and it cost me a fortune. Unfortunately, I went over the customs limit, and I\u2019m afraid they\u2019ll confiscate it. Could you perhaps hide it under your cassock for me?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The priest smiled warmly. \u201cI can certainly do that, my child. But you must understand, I cannot tell a lie.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She grinned, confident in his innocent appearance. \u201cOh Father, with that honest face of yours, I\u2019m sure they won\u2019t even question you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When the plane landed, everyone passed through customs. The priest stepped up when the officer asked:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGood afternoon, Father. Do you have anything to declare?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With a calm smile, the priest replied,
\u201cFrom the top of my head to my waist, I have nothing to declare.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The officer chuckled. \u201cAnd what about below your waist, Father?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The priest answered,
\u201cWell, I have a marvelous little instrument designed for women that\u2019s never been used.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
