70s Music Legend in Intensive Care After Heart Issue

A rock and roll icon, famous for hits from the 1970s and collaborations with legendary bands and musicians, is currently in intensive care following a severe heart attack at his home in Monmouthshire, Wales. Fans and fellow artists around the world have expressed shock and concern over the sudden health crisis that has shaken the music community.

According to a post shared on social media by his wife, the incident was nearly fatal. She described the terrifying moment when he “died in her arms” before emergency responders were able to revive him. While medics successfully resuscitated him, the event caused brain damage and memory loss, leaving his prognosis uncertain.

His wife called his survival nothing short of a “miracle” and cautioned that the upcoming weeks would be extremely challenging for both him and his family. Dave Edmunds, 81, is best known for his 1970 hit “I Hear You Knocking” and has had a celebrated career as a solo artist as well as a collaborator with groups like Rockpile and fellow musician Nick Lowe.
