Rick Davies Supertramp’s rise was rapid. By the early ’70s, they were already charting hits, and their iconic album Breakfast in America turned them into global stars. The record produced enduring hits like The Logical Song, Take the Long Way Home, and Goodbye Stranger, earning Grammy nominations and cementing their place in music history.
Creative differences eventually led Hodgson to leave the band, but Davies remained, keeping Supertramp alive through the ’80s and reviving it in the ’90s with new members.
