Arthur Jone, Born on June 3, 1986, in Rochester, New York, Jones was a standout athlete throughout his youth. He played college football at Syracuse University, where he was known for his strength and versatility on the defensive line. His performance at Syracuse earned him a spot in the 2010 NFL Draft, where the Baltimore Ravens selected him in the fifth round.
Jones quickly established himself as a solid defensive presence in the NFL, excelling in run defense and quarterback pressures. His most memorable moment came in the 2012 season, when his play was pivotal to the Ravens’ defense during their victory in Super Bowl XLVII against the San Francisco 49ers.
After four seasons with the Ravens, Jones continued his NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts and later the Washington Redskins, despite struggling with injuries. He retired from the NFL in 2017. Arthur Jones was also part of one of America’s most prominent athletic families, with his brothers being UFC champion Jon “Bones” Jones and former NFL defensive end Chandler Jones.
