In 1983, Patricia Clarke gave birth to Kevin Robert Clark, a baby who made headlines for his massive size, weighing over 16 pounds at birth. He was not only the largest infant born at Community Memorial Hospital but also potentially the biggest in all of New Jersey at the time.
Despite his unusual size, Kevin was healthy, and his birth turned him into an instant celebrity. He even appeared on popular TV shows like “Saturday Night Live” and “Good Morning America.” As Kevin grew, his height continued to make headlines. By age 12, he was already 5’7″, and by junior high, he had reached 6’5″.

Kevin, who always had a great sense of humor about his size, jokingly said, “I like to joke that I’m 5-foot-21. When people ask if I play basketball, I ask them if they play miniature golf.” Now, at 40, Kevin stands at an impressive 6’9″ and has become accustomed to the attention.

“There isn’t a day that goes by when someone doesn’t ask me how tall I am,” he shared. A former soldier, Kevin now lives with his 6-foot-tall wife and their Great Dane. He has navigated life with his extraordinary height, handling the challenges that come with it. Despite being in the spotlight since birth, Kevin is thriving and continues to make his mark. We wish him all the best as he moves forward with his life.
