My son cheated on his wife, Tina, filed for divorce, and left her to raise their little baby alone. 

When I confronted him, he brushed it off coldly.
“Well, she’s great,” he said, “but I deserve someone better.”

I was furious but held my tongue. Then, not long after, he invited me to his second wedding. I went, not out of pride, but out of obligation. Tina, meanwhile, stayed strong for her child, carrying the weight of heartbreak with quiet dignity.
