A young couple, just married, were in their honeymoon suite on their wedding night.
As they were undressing for bed, the husband, a big, burly man, tossed his trousers to his bride and said:
“Here, put these on.”
She looked at him, puzzled, but did as he said.
The trousers were far too big, and they slipped right off her waist.
“I can’t wear these,” she said. “They’re too big!”
He smiled and replied:
“Exactly. I wear the pants in this family, and don’t you ever forget it.”
Without missing a beat, the wife picked up her panties and tossed them at him.
“Here, you put these on.”
He struggled, pulling and tugging, but they wouldn’t go past his thighs.
“I can’t get into these!” he said.
She smiled sweetly and replied:
“Exactly. And unless you change your attitude, you never will.”
Moral of the story? Mutual respect goes a long way — especially on the honeymoon!
