He Looked at His Wife and Said Something She Never Expected

They had been married for 50 years, and their mornings were as predictable as sunrise. Every single day, without fail, the old man would get out of bed, let out a thunderous fart, and burst into laughter like it was the funniest thing in the world.

Every single day, his wife would shake her head and warn him, “One of these days, you’re going to fart your guts out!”

He always laughed it off.

But one Thanksgiving morning, the old woman decided she’d finally had enough.

While preparing the turkey, she held the warm bowl of giblets and suddenly got an idea. Quietly, carefully, she walked upstairs while her husband was still asleep. Gently pulling back the waistband of his underwear, she placed the turkey innards inside and slipped out of the room without making a sound.

About an hour later, she heard him waking up.

His feet hit the floor.

Then came the familiar sound.

The fart.

The laugh.

But this time, the laughter stopped suddenly.

A loud scream echoed through the house… followed by ten long minutes of complete silence.

Finally, the old man slowly came down the stairs, pale and shaken.

He looked at his wife and said, “Honey… I owe you an apology.”

She tried to keep a straight face. “For what?”

He took a deep breath.

“For fifty years, you’ve been warning me. This morning… it finally happened.”

Her eyes widened as he continued.

“But thanks to God… and these two fingers… I managed to put everything back where it belongs.”

She stared at him for a second… then dropped the spoon and burst into laughter so hard she could barely stand.

After fifty years of marriage, they both learned something important that day.

Sometimes, the best relationships are built on love, patience… and a very strong sense of humor.
